XKC 031 -  XKC 040

XKC 031:
Sold to Donald Parkinson of Hollywood, damaged at Pebble Beach California and then sold to various until later owned by Richard Mellen of Illinois.

XKC 032:
Purchased by former World Champion, Giuseppe Farina. Later sold to Ernie Erickson of the US. Best result was 2nd in the Lincoln Trophy race at Washington 1954 using triple Weber carbs. Bought by “Doc” Wyllie in 1955 and won the Seneca Cup. Purchased by JP Jefferson Scott and fitted with various non Jaguar components, later replaced again back to standard spec. Advertised in London in 1981 for sale.

XKC 033:
Purchased by Mr McManus and then sold to Maston Gregory’s brother Ridelle who won the novice race at March Field California in 1953. 3rd in the Del Monty Trophy at Pebble Beach in 1954. Various owners and reported to have been fitted with XKC 024‘s bonnet, later restores in Florida and owned by Walter Hill in the 1970‘s.

XKC 038:
Extensively raced car sold to Duncan Hamilton in 1954 gaining wins at Aintree and Montlhery. Bought by Dan Marguilles late 1954 and raced in the UK and abroad: 1st Castle Combe 1955, 3rd Sardinia road race driven by Graham Hill. Sold in 1956 after completing the Targa Florio where it raced numerous times. Later owned by Peter Sargent.

XKC 039:
Sold to Peter Whitehead and raced: 1st with best lap at Goodwood 1953, 6th at Silverstone international meeting, 1st at Hyeres 12hr, 6th at Lisbon, retired from Pescara, retired after leading Mount Druitt NSW 24hr 1954. Sold to Jack Tutton of NZ and later owned and raced by Ian and Ray Archibald of Christchurch in historic races.

XKC 040:
Sold to Jim Swift of Stoke-on-Trent who raced with mixed success 1953. Various UK owners then sold to Bill Dunn of Jacksonville, Florida. Reported being restored by Walter Hill also owner of XKC 033 in 1980.
